The State Bank of India (SBI) has released its official notification for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales), popularly known as SBI Clerk 2025. A total of 6,589 vacancies (Regular: 5,180 + Backlog: 1,409) have been announced across India.

3. Age Limit (As on 01 April 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years

4. Educational Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Final year/semester students can also apply, provided they submit proof of graduation on or before 31st December 2025.
  • Knowledge of Local Language (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) is mandatory for the state/UT they apply from.

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹750/-
  • SC/ST/PwBD: ₹125/- (intimation charges only)

6. Selection Process

The selection will be done in three stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT/LPT)
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains.

7. Salary & Benefits

  • Basic Pay: ₹24,050 (with increments for graduates starting at approx. ₹26,730).
  • Gross Salary in Metro Cities: Up to ₹46,000 per month.
  • Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – ₹64,480 (including increments).
  • Additional benefits include DA, HRA, Medical, and other allowances.
